Michelle F. Furqan

Michelle Furqan is a legal professional with over 28 years’ experience in the legal and international business sectors. She graduated from the University of Kent Law with a Certificate in Law. She also has holds a Corporate Procedures Certification with Institute Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Michelle is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Paralegals in the United Kingdom and is a Qualified Member of the New York City Paralegal Association Inc. Michelle is presently a student of Ashay University, where she is studying African and Pan-African history and culture.

In the past Michelle has served on the Board of Prison Fellowship (Bermuda) and has volunteered her time on the Angel Tree Project and the Women’s Resource Center. After the death of first husband, Michelle founded a women’s support group called Widows Wears Stilettos, Bermuda Chapter. This organization encourages widows of all ages by reinforcing that they are not alone in the widowhood chapter of their lives.

Michelle is the mother of three children, William, Benjamin and McKenzie.
