A 54-year-old woman was formally arraigned in the Supreme Court today during the court’s monthly arraignment session, where she entered a plea of not guilty to a single sexual-related offense.
The court heard allegations that on or around September 26, 2025, in Bermuda, the woman—while in a position of trust—unlawfully touched the genitals of a minor with her hands. Due to strict legal protections, neither the accused nor the complainant can be identified.
The defendant was represented by Marc Daniels, while the Crown’s case was presented by Director of Public Prosecutions Cindy Clarke.
The proceedings took place before presiding judge Justice Juan Wolffe.
Following the arraignment, the woman was granted bail. She is scheduled to return to court on June 1, 2026, for the next monthly arraignment session.
